David has been with the NBBC staff since November 1993. He was ordained at Lakeside Baptist Church, Lakeland Florida, in August 1969. He received his undergraduate degree from Toccoa Falls Bible College in Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Education. He received his seminary education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 1972, and subsequently received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice College and Seminary in 1990.
David was born August 5, 1946. He married Vivian on June 18, 1967. They have three married daughters: Kimberly Helms, Amy Moore, and Tiffiny Outlaw; and six grandsons: Chad Moore, Zachery Moore, Clayton Moore, David Helms, Cameron Outlaw, and Colby Outlaw.

Charles Draper is a native of Paris, Texas, and came to Nassau Bay Baptist Church fresh out of Texas A & M in 1984 to work for an aerospace contractor. He became actively involved in our church, met his wife (the former Sherri Sanford), moved to Colorado and back to Houston. He was called to ministry and attended seminary while still working, receiving his Master of Arts in Education and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2000. He then served four years as Minister of Education/Outreach at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Austin, Texas, starting in July of 2000 before becoming the Associate Pastor of Education & Outreach here at NBBC in March of 2004.

Susan has a passion to lead boys and girls to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as partnering with parents and grandparents in the spiritual development of their children. The Bumpas family loves to serve together and are called to serve in Jesus' name.
Susan and Bill have been married for 18 years and have three children. Joshua, 17 years old and in 11th grade, has a great love for his piano, drum line in marching band, his studies, and drama/forensic tournaments. Jacob, 13 years old and in 8th grade, is a sports nut especially baseball, loves life, loves to serve people, and loves to make new friends. Emilee Anne, 8 years old and in 2nd grade, loves to have fun, loves to ride her bike, loves to dance, and doesn't know a stranger. Husband Bill has a passion to serve his church and minister along side Susan. He has a love for radio and is a freelance radio news reporter for American Family Radio.
Susan received a Master of Arts in Religious Education specializing in Preschool and Children's Ministries from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996. She received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Studies specializing in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University in 1993.
Susan has 20+ years of church staff experience in Preschool and Children's Ministry.
